MIRRORBALL represents the creative collaboration between old friends Dave Pfister (bass guitar, other guitars, percussion, vocals) and Mike Willis (keys, guitars, percussion, vocals).  Together these two songwriters craft memorable and eclectic original compositions incorporating a wide variety of influences from folk and country to funk and blues.

MIRRORBALL was formed in October of 2010, when Mike moved to Cortez, CO, to join forces with Dave.  Willis' former band, Euphonic Brew, had recently released their third and final album before calling it quits, leaving him free to start a new project.  In the meantime, Pfister had been playing in numerous cover bands in the Cortez area and was hungry for a new challenge.  Within a week of the band's formation, the two musicians were already playing originals and covers together at local open mics and gaining a reputation for a fun-filled, yet professional, live set.

On stage, Mike and Dave draw from their rich musical backgrounds to pull out countless familiar covers at the drop of a hat (or perhaps a mic stand).  By interspersing these covers with an already impressive set of original material, they create a mesmerizing live music experience that appeals to music lovers of all shapes, sizes, and species.  You can expect to hear everything from Ray Charles to Pavement to Led Zeppelin to Phish at a MIRRORBALL show - and then some!

The past few months have seen the boys bringing the groove to audiences near and far,  backed by the fiery and expressive drumming of Justin Richert.  The trio entered the studio in late February to record tracks for MIRRORBALL's debut studio outing, expected to drop sometime in late March or early April.

And the journey is just beginning....
